The 2018 Lychee Season is just getting started - March Update. Things are looking very good so far. We are experiencing a significant bloom, much more than last year or the year before. The male flowers are opening and there appear to be many female flowers available for pollination. This is a good sign and it portends a robust lychee crop for the Spring and early summer of 2018. Tuesday, February 10, 2015. My little Carolynn has been quite the chef lately. One night, while I was at work she made some kind of carrot curry soup. On another night, while David and I were at Disneyland with Michelle, she made, for her and Catherine, some kind of barbecued portabello quessadillas. She was going to save me one, but she missed. Then she made this fabulous Orecchiette Pasta with Chicken in a Creamy Rosemary Lemon Sauce. The top one I did.
